You, sir, are an illiterate racist.

I saw the attached image on Rachel this evening. It is absolutely delicious. Dale Robertson, the teabagger behind teaparty.org, holds a rally sign from an event on 27 Feb 2009 in Houston. I can't guess what he was trying to communicate with the slogan "Congress = Slaveowner, Taxpayer = Niggar." When the image was shown on MSBC, a portion of the misspelled slur was blurred out, which also doesn't make a lot of sense to me. However, Rachel's comment about it was just so perfect that I had to repost it.

"You know, it's usually an ad hominem attack when you call somebody an illiterate racist. But in this case, when the guy is both using and misspelling the N word, I think it's fair to say, just descriptively -- without comment, 'You, sir, are an illiterate racist.'"

By the way, if you look closely at the poster, you can see that the last word was added on a separate piece of paper. One wonders what his first choice might have been.
