I opened this link in a new browser tab, and forgot about it while it was loading. An hour later, I forgot who sent it to me or how I stumbled upon it. At any rate, (4.5% perchance)* here is an awesome video showing Mike Jarvi making one of his signature pieces. I didn't know what he was making at first. When he started sawing the slab of white oak, I thought he was nuts to start dimensioning it before it had stabilized. I didn't realize it was destined for the steamer.
